[Booty-Dance 3]

Great Soundtrack

As the title states, the selling point, for me, on this submission was the awesome audio. It added the the atmosphere of this piece. The style of animation was also great, and a nice break from the beat-off material that we all-too-often see when a submission has anything to do with a dancing woman. You've managed to blend sex, art, and great music all into one three or so minute long animation. I think this is deserving of an addition to my favorites. Once again, great work, mate.

Sound Quality

Is lacking. It actually gave me a headache. You should bring it into a program like Sound Forge and tweak the levels. Definitely bring the treble on the dialogue down.

As for the cartoon in general, nice work. Funny concept, nice execution, all that. Good work.

Douglas Adams?

Most of the names were very reminiscent of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. The general plot of the story also reminded me, slightly, of the great series of books by Douglas Adams. With the exception of subpar graphics and rather annoying sound quality, this was a good flash. Funny as hell. I particularly liked the old man's head. He didn't care about anything other than when he was going to get his next smoke.. Rock on old man's head.. Rock on.

The sound quality is not pristine for size purposes. In case you are not familiar with uploading flash to Newgrounds, they heavily encourage you to optimize your files.

I find it interesting being told that my creations remind people of other works.. Because most of these I have neither read or viewed.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The crazy man's head is based on a real person.. Some of the things he says, like the pumpkin seeds bit in the other Fogmarl are things he's really said.

Always keep in mind, I work a full-time job as this is my hobbie. So after work takes the 10-12 hours it wants, I can usually throw 3-4 (sometimes more but have a familly too)

However, I'm thinking within a month if things go well, going to try to rally sponsorship to create some money=time buffers. As it can free me from all paid side projects too.

Yay for Russian Flash!

Not really. Most Russian flash on Newgrounds sucks. This is one of the few good ones I've seen. Good work, mate. I'm probably one of few who actually understood what they were singing. :P

I love your graphical style. Very cool. Colors in the video went along with the music/lyrics well. Once again, ochin harasho.

Hmmmm

Not *horrible*. I would have preferred to hear Flea playing over hearing you try and imitate his bass sound. Also, you should have included that Anthony Kiedis taught Flea how to play bass when they were in their mid-teens, back when the band was first getting started. How long have you been playing bass? 16 years myself.

I've been playing bass for almost 3 months now, but i also practice about 3 to 4 hours a day and I played the upright bass before I got my electric.

Hell Yes

This is great work. Better than most of anything I see on NGs. Great animation, great everything. It brought me back, that's for sure. Back to the Future owns, and you've done a nice job of capturing that ownage in your own style.

Red Card!

Nice. I loved this one, partly because I love soccer, mostly because it was well done flash, well thought out, and fun to watch.

Animation was smooth and looked very nice, use of subtitles went over very well.

It's a pity that he got redcarded... Poor guy... Guess he's going to have to wait till the next game.

So, we've established the fact that he must do it... alone... or die trying... Now, let's establish one more thing:

Great concept, sub-par graphics, fitting music, decent atmosphere... Spend a few weeks and actually make a short of this... It's got merit.

This isn't horrible for a first piece. Sound is decent, and the animation is decent. My only advice would be to learn some grammar if you're going to use subtitles. This is the first piece I haven't voted to BLAM! all day... Feel special.
